It is strange how a grape variety that is so popular throughout the world was confused in Friuli with Pinot Bianco until the late 1970s. Although the entire eastern part of this region has great potential, the variety has not yet entered the hearts of producers, but there are examples that show how this variety can compete with the great Chardonnays of the world. Jurosa is one of them, and its northern, sunny character marks its evolutionary path, capable of improvement and progress over time.

After a spring that was not ideal for this variety, the vines reacted well during the summer, giving us a fascinating and well-balanced wine with a northern, sunny character, capable of improving and progressing over time. On the nose, it has notes of apricot, hay, butter and custard; on the palate, it is full and mineral with an acidic streak well balanced by softness. It goes well with all fish dishes, from hot starters and first courses to steamed or stewed main courses, and can also be enjoyed with cheeses and white meats.
