Description: Bright colour with greenish-yellow reflections. Intense fruity flavours of elderberry, acacia blossom, gooseberry and sage. Fresh acidity on the palate with a subtle mineral aftertaste.
Ageing potential: 3 - 5 years.
Recommended dishes: goes excellently with asparagus dishes. Ideal companion for herb and fish dishes. Also excellent as an aperitif.
Serving temperature: 10 - 12° C.
Vineyards: Hills and slopes between 400 - 500 metres above sea level; mineral-rich moraine soil.
Vinification: After cold maceration and gentle pressing, cool fermentation at 18° C in stainless steel. Part of the must ferments in large wooden barrels. After 6 months of separate maturation on the fine lees, the wines are blended and gently bottled.
