The Pinot Noir has a ruby red colour, a sparkle given to it by the optimal hours of sunshine. It grows on the historic Preyhof on deep soil and enjoys a comparatively cool microclimate in this best Pinot Noir location in Kaltern. The typical fruity flavours of cherry, redcurrant and blueberry are concentrated. Finely spiced flavours frame the bouquet. On the palate, the wine is round and juicy, with elegant, fine-grained tannins. The finish is lingering.
