GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% Nero d'Avola VINEYARD SYSTEM: Espalier-bearing bush SOIL TYPE: Calcareous-clayey SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°C VINIFICATION: The grapes, harvested in the first half of September, are vinified in red with long maceration of the must with the skins AGEING AND REFINING: After malolactic fermentation, the wine is racked into small barrels of 500 and 225 litres where it remains for about two years. Maturation in bottle in a horizontal position for at least one year.
TASTING NOTES: Intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose is intense, typical with hints of red fruit and divanilla. On the palate it is fruity, harmonious, structured, very persistent on the palate. FOOD PAIRINGS: Goes very well with red meats, game and mature cheeses
