SITUATION / SOIL Höfl unterm Stein in Söll near Tramin, is a south-eastern slope situated at 480 to 550 m above sea level. On strong, loamy chalky gravel soil, there are both pergola plants that are over 30 years old and wire frames that are over 10 years old, which produce unique wines with an extremely low yield of 40hl/ha.
