Soil: calcareous gravel with clay soil, porphyry rocks in the subsoil
Age of the vines: 10 - 30 years
Climate: extreme interplay between sunny days dominated by the Mediterranean climate and night hours dominated by cold downdrafts from the surrounding mountains.
