Aqua Vitae Le Pergole Torte

This product is obtained by steam distillation from the dripping marc of Sangiovese grapes from the Le Pergole Torte vineyard, located on the Montevertine Estate.
CHARACTERISTICS:

Following the distillation process, the wine is aged in oak barrels for approximately four years, followed by bottling.

Aqua Vitae is the result of the collaboration between Distilleria Artigiana di Gioacchino Nannoni, which directly takes care of the entire distillation, ageing and bottling
process, and Azienda Agricola di Montevertine, which supplies the raw materials.
We think that, given the particular characteristics of this product (amber colour, smoothness on the palate and nose), the term 'grappa' is a bit reductive.

When tasting Aqua Vitae, other types of spirits come to mind, such as Armagnac.
