Visual examination: Brilliant golden appearance.
Olfactory examination: The bouquet opens fresh and clear, with distinct notes of malted barley and peat, and distant hints of wet earth. Gustative examination: On the
palate, very pleasant notes of saltiness are picked up, interspersed with 'burnt' sensations of ash and smoky. Final sensations: very prolonged aftertaste, dominated by
phenolic sensations.
