Type: Single Malt Scotch Whisky Production method: Pot Still distillation Ageing: Continental Casing: Yes Why it's different
Glenrothes 10 YO is aged in 100% sherry seasoned casks for at least 10 years and produced in the Speyside region. The new range is named 'Soleo' after the traditional process of sun-drying the grapes that creates the basis of sherry making. The result is a single malt with hints of vanilla, lemon and butter bread.
How I drink it: best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, it is also perfect for mixing cocktails. We recommend a version of the classic Bobby Burns: 50ml The Glenrothes 10 yo, 20ml white vermouth lustau, 1 barspoon yellow chartreuse. Prepare in a mixing glass filled with ice, serve in a chilled glass with lemon twist.
