Grappa Gewürztraminer Old boasts all the characteristics of the basic distillate; a full-bodied, complex grab with an intense floral aroma, made from the pomace of the Termeno wine-growing area. With its Grappa Gewürztraminer Old, the Zu Plun distillery provides its own answer to the mystery surrounding the true origin of the famous vines, which are often the subject of much debate, by subjecting the special distillate made from the marc of the Tramin area to new influences: it is aged for at least three years in oak barrels, where the fine sweet Sauternes wines were previously stored. The floral and fruity aroma and the typical characteristics of the grape variety are complemented by the oak tones, which give the distillity a special full-bodied and harmonious aroma.
