Scaldaferro's soft nougat is cooked in a bain-marie in ancient copper calipers for 6 hours. Afterwards it is spread by hand while still hot on a bed of wafer; it is neither pressed nor rolled by machine as is the case with industrial products to maintain the softness acquired during cooking. The ingredients are natural and carefully selected: orange honey, which gives it an unmistakable flavour and colour, and heat-roasted whole almonds, rich in essential oil.
INGREDIENTS: ALMONDS, honey, caster and brown sugar, glucose syrup, egg white, vanilla bean. Gluten-free. Without colourings, preservatives, additives. May contain traces of other nuts.
