Lugana 2022 CA'DEI FRATI 375ml

Lugana 2022 CA'DEI FRATI 375ml

I Frati
Lugana Doc

The wine that has made the company's image known and continues to do so. It has a direct link with its variety, Turbiana, our indigenous vine. Conceived to be consumed
during the year, it expresses its best side many years after bottling. In its youth it is fresh, linear and endowed with great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white
flowers and balsamic, hints of apricot and almond. Time allows it to evolve, expressing its mineral notes with greater determination. The wine acquires its own complexity
with hints of iodine, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth it is capable of enveloping the whole palate thanks to an important savoury essence accompanied by lively and
exuberant acidity. When young, it is best served at a temperature of around 10 degrees, with cold or warm but delicate hors d'oeuvres and with boiled, steamed or grilled fish
dishes.
Technical data

Grape varieties used: Turbiana 100%.
Soil composition: calcareous - clayey
Training system: Simple and double Guyot
Planting system: 2.30 x 0.70
Yield per hectare: 90 quintals
Type of vinification: steel
Malolactic: Not carried out
Ageing and development: in steel on fine lees for a minimum of 6 months, followed by 2 months in bottle
Alcohol content: 13%.
Total acidity: 6.40 g/L
Volatile acidity: 0.30 g/L
pH: 3.20
Dry extract: 21 g/L
Ronchedone 2021 Ca dei...

Ronchedone 2021 Ca dei...

Ronchedone
Red wine

In the area where the first moraine hills rise, red wines of considerable depth and power are also obtained, and Ronchedone is an absolute demonstration of this. Strongly
desired from the moment it was felt that certain areas and certain microclimates were suitable for making a wine like this. Marzemino, Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet make
it a wine that cannot go unnoticed. The nose is very rich with notes of red fruits, macerated blueberries, marasca cherries under spirits, balsamic and jammy hints. The
palate is powerful and incisive, clean, savoury, with a fine acidity that is a sign of the Benaco soil. Ideal with red meats with medium and long cooking, game birds and fur,
mature cheeses, rich pastas and soups with meat.

Technical data
Grape varieties used: Marzemino, Sangiovese and Cabernet 10%.
Soil composition: calcareous - clayey, loamy and sandy
Training system: Simple Guyot and spurred cordon
Type of vinification: maceration in steel with prolonged contact
Malolactic fermentation: carried out
Ageing and evolution: in barriques for 14 months, followed by 10 months in bottles
Alcohol content: 14.5%.
Total acidity: 6.0 g/L
Volatile acidity: 0.42 g/L
pH: 3.60
Dry extract: 36 g/L
Cabernet Sauvignon 375ml...

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

This variety needs no introduction and has also found much space in Friuli. The low yields and strong stripping favour a more 'southern' maturation. Maceration is not too
long and during this phase great care is taken to separate the grape seeds. The result is a wine with an intense colour, warm aromas and a rounded taste, where the tannin
expresses itself above all with elegance.

Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Denomination: IGT Venezia Giulia
Municipality of production: San Lorenzo - Corona - Romans (Gorizia)
Soil type: calcareous gravelly plateau (60/25 m asl)
Vineyard: Cultivated with organic fertilisation and integrated pest management (as per EU regulations) with no chemical weed control
Average age of vines: 15 years
Training system: Guyot 5.200 - 5.600 vines/ha
Production: 50 - 55 hl/ha
Harvesting: By hand with careful selection of the grapes
Alcohol content: 13%.
Serving temperature: 18 °C
Bottles produced: 110,000 (average)
Ageing potential 10 years
Chianti Riserva NIPOZZANO...

Chianti Riserva NIPOZZANO...

Nipozzano Riserva 2019
Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG

An emblematic wine from Castello Nipozzano, a historic Frescobaldi estate a few kilometres north-east of Florence, Nipozzano Riserva is the symbol of the Tuscan
winemaking tradition and the indissoluble bond with the terroir.

Climatic trends
At Castello Nipozzano, winter 2019 was characterised by long periods of sunshine with low temperatures. Spring, on the other hand, was cool, and the rains that fell
ensured good water reserves to face the hot summer days. The summer period was characterised by temperature fluctuations that helped to provide coolness during the
night, with the usual breezes from the slopes of the Apennines contributing in particular. The grapes were therefore accompanied to ripening by a combination of the warmth
of the sun and refreshing breezes; the bunches arrived at the harvest in perfect condition and the production expressed itself in wines typical of the area, marked by a good
acidic vein and silky tannins.

Technical notes
Variety: Sangiovese and complementary varieties
Alcoholic grade: 13.5%.

Vinification and maturation
The grapes, as soon as they were harvested, were immediately delivered to the cellar. Here, once destemmed, the spontaneous fermentation process took place in
thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. At the end of this, the wine remained in the vats to complete maceration. Following racking, malolactic fermentation took place, also
conducted in stainless steel. At the end of the year, the wine was racked into barriques, where it matured for the following months. The further period in bottle allowed
Nipozzano 2019 to express itself to the full, making it a wine of exceptional expressive balance.

Tasting notes
Nipozzano 2019 presents a lively ruby red colour. The nose is characterised by fruity scents such as wild berries, black cherry and elegant floral notes; wonderful freshness
expressed through balsamic hints. This is followed by roasted and spicy notes of pepper, nutmeg and coffee. The palate is rich, characterised by the elegant density of the
fruit and the final mineral freshness that make it balanced and persistent. The tannic texture is dense but not scratchy. The taste-olfactory correspondence is splendid.
Chianti class. 2021...

At Castellare, Chianti Classico is produced using only two indigenous grape varieties: Sangioveto, the prince of Tuscan vines, which makes up 90% of the blend, and the
remaining 10% of Canaiolo, another typical variety of the area.
