<br />FROM THE BARREL<br /><br />Nikka From The Barrel is a blended whisky which was released in 1985. The development of this expression started with an aim to deliver full flavors and richness of whisky<br />like 'from the barrel', which only blenders can sniff and taste. The secret behind its gorgeous flavor is the unique combination of complex blending, higher ABV 51.4% and<br />'marriage' process.<br /><br />The iconic square bottle reflects its concept 'a small block of whisky' and embodies the intense and rich flavors of the whisky inside. Long after its launch, this bottle is still<br />timeless and recognized for its ultimate simplicity.<br /><br />51.4% ABV 500ml, 750ml (USA)<br /><br />The complex formula is created by blending more than 100 different batches of malt and grain whiskies. After blending, the whisky is filled into used barrels and matured for<br />another few months. This 'marriage' process harmonizes all components in the formula, resulting in a mellow taste. Bottling is controlled at 51.4% ABV, almost equivalent<br />to 90 British proof, that Nikka blenders determined through repeated experiments to achieve the ideal taste profile.<br />

In ancient Norse mythology, Valkyries would descend from the<br />heavens to find the best and bravest warriors and give them passage to Valhalla.<br /><br />Valkyrie is the first in a series of three special Viking Legend releases and was awarded the Chairman's Trophy in the 2017 Ultimate Spirits Challenge, scoring 99 out of<br />100.<br /><br />The combination of sherry seasoned European and American oak casks with ex-bourbon casks gives Valkyrie the aroma of crisp green apples being carted through a spice<br />market, while a delicate breeze fills the air with an aroma of faraway campfires. It's a marriage that can only be described as, 'Liquorice Lantern Smoke'. 21 letters have<br />never tasted this good.<br /><br />The packaging for each release in the Viking Legend series was created by Jim Lyngvild, a Danish designer and artist of international renown, whose 36th great grandfather<br />was Ragnvald Eysteinsson, the first Earl of the Orkney Islands.<br />

This includes your closest friendships, your favourite songs, and exceptionally intense single malt whiskies.<br />Full Volume is a robust, beautifully balanced whisky, exclusively matured in Kosher certified ex-bourbon casks, rather than our traditional sherry casks. This allowed us to<br />turn up the volume on those succulent creamy bourbon notes. Distilled in 1999, the resulting 17-year jam session of maturation yielded an ABV of 47.2% and was bottled<br />and released in 2017. The intense flavour profile delivers creamy vanilla and light citrus fruits, all balanced out by Highland Park's characteristic smokiness.<br />

BERNARDI bacon - the time to the maturity is esteemed to us<br /><br />Today as at that time we process after traditional production procedure nearly all parts of the pig, e.g., the leg, the square, the pork nape, the belly, the shoulder and the<br />cheek. In addition to this already very unusual assortment we still produce the traditional farm bacon which is produced without exception of local pigs. This is marked as a<br />rule with our fire sign belonging to company. Because of the different bandage fabric of the single meat parts we are able with the use of one single salt/herbs-mixture to give<br />this one own individual character and taste.<br /><br />The salt spice mixture protected since generations refined every now and then is one from herbs, berries, salt and other spices composite recipe which vouches for the<br />unique and distinctive taste of our products. Besides, we place great value of the fact that some berries not to ground, but traditionally are rammed to heat up the contained<br />essence oils on no case and to cause therefore restorative bitter substances.<br /><br />Our bacon becomes salted with 2.3% on 1 kg of meat. The brine time amounts four weeks and all bacon sides are restacked weekly, besides, must be always also<br />respected the temperature of the brine cell.<br /><br />The maturity of a good bacon determines the nature only. We create ideal, always constant conditions and give to every item of BERNARDI bacon the time which requires<br />for an optimum maturity.<br /> <br /><br /> Ingredients: Pork leg, salt, black pepper, coriander, cumin, natural flavouring.
