Vermouth Antica Formula...

Vermouth Antica Formula...

'Antica Formula'
The Italian Vermouth of excellence, sweet and vanilla.

With a unique and unmistakable taste and a rich and structured body, this product was created by Antonio Benedetto Carpano, the inventor of the Vermouth product
category back in 1786 in Turin. Antica Formula has come down to us in its original and inimitable recipe thanks to Fratelli Branca Distillerie's passion and skill in keeping
the product unaltered over time, a product that stands out for its unique bouquet and unmistakable notes of vanilla. This 'nectar of the Gods' is characterised in taste and
aroma by an infusion of carefully selected mountain herbs and spices, including the precious saffron.

Antica Formula is produced in limited quantities and packaged in fine blown-glass bottles. Sealed with a cork, the bottle is enclosed within a precious package. The label is
a reproduction of the original from 1786.

Bright amaranth colour with amber veins, the bouquet of vanilla emerges on the nose, accompanied by notes of spices, citrus fruits and dried fruits such as sultanas and
cloves. The palate is rich and vanilla with notes of bitter orange, dates, cocoa beans, cherries and saffron.

Ideal to drink with ice and a slice of orange, as an aperitif or after dinner. It is the main ingredient of cocktails such as Negroni, Americano, Manhattan or Hanky Panky,
offered in the most exclusive clubs in Italy and abroad.
Rhum Rhum Blanc Marie...

Rhum Rhum Blanc
Rhum Rhum Marie Galante

70 cl / 41 °
Typology: Pure Single Rhum Agricole
Raw material: Pure cane juice
Fermentation: Own selected yeasts
Method of production: Pot Still distillation
Box: Yes
Why it is different

Rhum Rhum Blanc 41 ° is the Pure Single Agricole Rhum produced from an ancient variety of sugar cane, the Rouge B47.259, almost disappeared from the Antilles. Once
perfectly ripe, the canes are cut by hand with traditional 'coutelas' and transported to the distillery on 'cabrouets' pulled by bulls. The freshly pressed juice is not diluted, as
is usual in the production of rhum agricoles; fermentation takes place in open vats at a controlled temperature and lasts up to 5/6 days. After distillation there is a long
period of rest in steel vats, lasting up to a year, during which the alcohol content is slowly lowered. Rhum Rhum Blanc is bottled at 41°.

How I drink it:
Rhum Rhum Blanc 41° is very pleasant in the classic Ti' Punch with a very small addition of sugar. Excellent for classic cocktails such as the Mary Pickford.

Focus:
In the mid-2000s, Luca Gargano realised a dream he had nurtured for years, that of producing the best rum in the world. To do so, he enlisted the help of maestro Gianni
Vittorio Capovilla and together they chose the enchanting island of Marie Galante, where at the time the best possible terroir could be found in the Caribbean. A first still was
installed at the Bielle distillery in 2005 and the second in 2007: two Müller bain-marie stills with a capacity of 300 and 1200 litres. The fresh, undiluted cane juice ferments
slowly in stainless steel cuves.
Monkey Shoulder smokey 40°...

Monkey Shoulder smokey 40°...

Monkey Shoulder Smokey
Monkey Shoulder Scotland

70 cl / 40 °
Typology: Blended Scotch Whisky
Raw material: Barley malt
Production method: Pot Still distillation
Aging: Continental
Casing: No

Why it's different:
Monkey Shoulder is the only whisky made from 100% malt by combining three Speyside single malts, all from a small batch production, assembling relatively small barrel
lots. It is a William Grant & Sons family whisky, born with the desire to create a modern and revolutionary whisky in the world of mixology.

Smokey Monkey Shoulder is the peaty variant of the triple blend.

How I drink it:
Versatile and designed for mixology, it is also great to drink pure to bring the public closer to the world of whisky, thanks to the smoothness of its vanilla notes.

Focus:
The name Monkey Shoulder refers to the physical condition that malt men often suffered after years of hard work turning barley mounds by hand during the germination
phase. This gave them a deformed limb holding the spade, causing it to hang downwards, like a monkey's posture.
Chartreuse VEP. Verte 1 litre

Chartreuse VEP. Verte
Chartreuse France

1 lt / 54°
Typology: Liqueur
Raw material: Alcohol, herbs, spices, aromas, sugar, honey
Method of production: Pot Still Distillation & Infusion
Ageing: Continental
Box: Yes
Why it is different

Green Chartreuse VEP is an extremely long aged liqueur, technically the most aged liqueur on the market. A Green Chartreuse with over 15 years of ageing, in small
barrels.

How to drink it:
To be enjoyed as the great end-of-meal liqueur that it is, in fact served at the end of meals in many Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.

Focus:
Chartreuse means Voiron to many. For more than 100 years, the French town in Haute-Savoie has been the home of the much-loved liqueur of the Carthusian fathers. The
Voiron site was built at the end of the 19th century as a logistical base for production, which was carried out in the historic Fourvoire distillery in Saint Laurent Le Pont,
destroyed by a landslide in 1935. From 1903, however, the monks had to flee, due to immediate expulsion from the French state, and took refuge in Spain, in Tarragona,
where production continued. After returning to France in 1930, and especially after the landslide that destroyed the old distillery, production was transferred to Voiron, where
the legendary underground Chartreuse 'caves' can still be visited today.
Chartreuse VEP. Jaune 1 litre

Chartreuse VEP. Jaune
Chartreuse France

1 lt / 42°
Typology: Liqueur
Raw material: Alcohol, herbs, spices, aromas, sugar, honey
Method of production: Pot Still Distillation & Infusion
Ageing: Continental
Box: Yes

Why it's different:
Chartreuse VEP Yellow is perhaps the king among all liqueurs, certainly the most Aged on the market. A Yellow Chartreuse with over 15 years of aging, in small barrels.

How I drink it:
To be drunk strictly straight, to enjoy every nuance.

Focus:
Chartreuse is a liqueur projected into the future, despite its centuries-old history. On 30 August 2018, the new distillery at Aiguenoire in Entre-deux-Guiers was inaugurated
after 2 years of intense coatruzione work. The distillery stands on a historic site for the Fathers, in fact the parcel of land where it was built was first used by the monks as
early as 1590 for their farming and fishing activities. They then bought it on 30 August 1618, exactly 400 years before the inauguration of Grand Avenir-Auguenoire. It is a
return to the heart of the Chartreuse massif that gave rise to the monastic order, just 12 km from the Grande Chartreuse, whose first structures were built from 1084
onwards by order of Saint Bruno.
Hendricks Orbium 43,4° 70cl

Hendricks Orbium 43,4° 70cl

Hendrick's Orbium
Hendrick's Scotland

70 cl / 43.4 °
Typology: Gin
Raw material: Neutral grain alcohol and 11 natural botanicals
Method of production: Distillation in a Carter Head still
Casing: No
Why it's different

Hendrick's Orbium is a chilled gin. It is created by infusing alcohol with quinine and absinthe, making it a complex product inspired by what is often mixed with gin: tonic and
vermouth. The final addition of lotus flowers accentuates the floral notes and gives smoothness to the blend. Produced in a small distillery in Ayrshire, Scotland, Hendrick's
Gin uses two very special ingredients: rose petals and cucumber, two flavours that come together in a perfect and surprising marriage, and two copper stills with a unique
history: a Carter Head, of which only a few examples exist, and a small Bennet Still discontinuous still from 1864. Today Hendrick's Gin is the most loved and sought after
gin in bars all over the world.

How I drink it:
Perfect for an Orbium Martini, with 1/5 of Vermouth, using lemon zest and cucumber slice as garnish.

Focus:
Hendrick's Gin recipe makes use of 11 botanicals, some classic and some downright extravagant for the category: from yarrow to coriander, juniper to cubeb berries,
elderflower, orange and lemon peel, angelica and iris root, with a final infusion of damask rose petals and cucumber. The two stills used by Hendrick's have a wonderful
history: in 1966 Charles Gordon, a descendant of the founding family of William Grant & Sons, and later chairman of the group, attended an auction where the two stills were
for sale. These were not just any old stills, as one was a wonderful copper 'Carter Head' still built in 1948 by John Dore & co Ltd in a very limited series, the other was the
still used by Marshall & Taplow of Stratford, one of London's historic gin distilleries already present at the time of the Gin Act, a very small 1860s pot still made by the
legendary Bennet Sons & Shears. Charles Gordon didn't let the opportunity pass him by, even though he still had no clear idea what to do with it. It was only years later that
the idea of using them for the production of Hendrick's gin was born, which gives an idea of the pioneering mentality of Charles Gordon, the man who invented Single Malt
Scotch Whisky. Orbium is not just a new gin. It is an interpretation of how we imagine Hendrick's in a parallel universe. It is not a Limited Release, but a permanent fixture in
the Hendrick's range, produced by the creative mind of Lesley Gracie, the Master Distiller of Hendrick's Gin.
Hendricks Lunar 43,4° 70cl

Hendricks Lunar 43,4° 70cl

Hendrick's Gin Lunar
Hendrick's Scotland

70 cl / 43.4 °
Typology: Gin
Box: No
Why it's different

Hendrick's Gin Lunar is the latest addition to the Hendrick's range. After the Orbium version, the first limited edition Summer Solstice was released and now this new limited
edition has finally been announced: Lunar Gin, which has been on sale in the UK since 20 February. This is an exceptional gin with a 43.3% vol. strength, described as
'distinctly floral with a delicate spicy finish'.

How to drink it:
Sasha Filimonov, UK brand ambassador for Hendrick's, suggests adding black pepper to enhance the gin's notes. He recommends trying the 'Moonlight Buck' cocktail with
Hendrick's Lunar Gin, ginger ale and lemon juice, garnished with cucumber and lemon zest.
