It is made with 70% aguardiente (the highest<br />portion among Cuban rums), which gives the distillate incredibly complex aromatic notes.<br /><br />On the nose, hints of coffee, roasted almonds and cocoa.<br />On the palate vanilla, sugar cane and plum with a finish of chocolate, almonds and pears.<br /><br />Eminente is intrinsically linked to the unspoilt nature of Cuba. This is why the brand was inspired by the Cuban crocodile for the bottle and its logo.<br />

Its colour varies from nut-brown to amber and it smells of wood, its taste is bittersweet. This varietal honey is obtained from the nectar of the chestnut tree blossom.<br /><br />Our popular Plattner Bienenhof chestnut honey is made from the nectar of the chestnut tree blossom and tastes slightly tart. It reminds of tannins and wood in the nose as<br />well as in the mouth. These flavours make it slightly less sweet and more liquid compared to others. Plattner Bienenhof Kastanien honey is a great accompaniment to<br />mature cheese, but also tastes great when enjoyed traditionally.<br /><br />On average, our honey contains about 17-19% water, about 70% simple sugars (carbohydrates in the form of glucose and fructose), about 2.5% sucrose, about 0.1% other<br />sugars and about 8% other substances. These naturally occurring components are: Acids, lactones, mineral salts, proteins, amino acids, vitamins, colloids and aromatic<br />substances.<br /><br />Honey, with about 300 kilocalories per 100 grams, is an energy-rich natural product, quickly digestible and well and rapidly absorbed by the body.<br /><br />Honey is a living food!<br /><br />It is even said to have some interesting positive properties on the human body: sedative (calming), antiseptic (germicidal), antianemic (increases red blood cells), diuretic<br />(increases water excretion), and many more.<br /><br />The freshly harvested honey is liquid, but can crystallise over time. This process is quite natural and the crystallised honey can be liquefied again in a warm water bath (up<br />to 40° C).<br /><br />Honey is not suitable for children or babies under 12 months.<br /><br />Country of origin: Italy<br />

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of DOMENIS1898, a grappa with an important, fine and balanced character.<br /><br />Strongly aromatic yet rounded, it surprises with the infinite sensations it offers to the taste. Certainly to be meditated, slowly, to be pervaded by the thousand bouquets on<br />the nose and sensations in the mouth.<br /><br />The marc is collected fresh, even fermented, from selected suppliers. Distillation takes place in a discontinuous plant with eight copper stills, using direct steam. The use of<br />direct steam at a low temperature (just over 100°), which is blown into the distillation at the base of the stills, makes it possible to extract the volatile components from the<br />marc mass without damaging them, especially the aromatic ones.<br /><br />The provenance of white grape marc contributes to denote a strong aromatic personality, the contribution of black grape marc gives unmistakable roundness and harmony.<br /><br />The gradation chosen for this grappa (60°) clearly enhances the aromatic charge typical of grappa with an incredible softness in spite of the significant alcohol content, while<br />also maintaining an elegant balance and a pleasantly prolonged persistence.<br /><br />Typology: young grappa<br />Alcohol content: 60% vol.<br />Raw materials: pomace<br />Serving temperature: 18°C<br />

<br />PLUM<br /><br />For the plum distillate of the Zu Plun distillery, only the plums typical of South Tyrolean mountain farms are used, which grow directly on the Plunhof farm at an altitude of<br />almost 1100 metres. In this climate, which is characterised by strong temperature fluctuations, small, compact fruits ripen with a more concentrated aroma than usual<br />cultivated plums. It is this aroma that should fully develop in the plum brandy, which is why the tree-ripe fruits are carefully pitted before further processing. The hand-picked<br />and prepared fruit is gently mashed. After natural fermentation without additives, the mash is distilled twice.
