Müller Thurgau originated from a cross between Riesling and Madeleine Royale and is named after its breeder, Prof. Hermann Müller, who came from Thurgau (Switzerland)
and carried out the extremely successful cross at the end of the 19th century in Geisenheim (Germany). In the Eisack Valley, this variety thrives mainly at higher altitudes
on warm sloping terraces with a very fine soil structure. The climate, which becomes harsher as the altitude increases, and above all the warm days and cool nights during
the ripening period, give Müller Thurgau the freshness and variety of aromas that make it so sought-after.

Vintage 2023
Variety Müller Thurgau
Altitude 550 - 970 m
Orientation south east
Slope 55%
Yield per hectare 70 hl
Training system guyot
Period of harvest mid september
Soil Stony, lean, skeleton-rich alluvial soils containing diorite and quartz phyllite
Vinification Delicate processing and crushing, controlled temperature fermentation and ageing on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, no malolactic fermentation
Characteristic
Color from greenish to straw yellow
Nose intense, characteristic with light muscat and elder flower scents
Taste fresh and spiced, marked character, slightly aromatic and with a full and pleasant body
Ageing capacity 5 years
Pairing
recommendations
ligth appetizers, baked or grilled shellfish, velvety soups, light egg-based dishes, excellent as an aperitif
Serving temperature 8° C - 10°C

Analytical data
Alcohol 12,5 % vol.
Residual sugar 2,2 g/l
total acidity 6 g/l

Recycling Info:

Check the regulations of your municipality
Bottle GL 71 - glass - waste glass collection
Closure FOR 51 - cork - sep. collection for organic waste
Capsule C/ALU 90 - aluminium - aluminium and metal collection
