<br />Ardbeg Uigeadail<br /><br />Pronounced 'Oog-a-dal', it's a special vatting that marries Ardbeg's traditional deep, smoky notes with luscious, raisiny tones of old ex-Sherry casks. Ardbeg Uigeadail was<br />voted by the 120,000+ strong Ardbeg Committee as their favourite Ardbeg.<br /><br />Non chill-filtered at 54.2% ABV.<br /><br />Color: Deepest Gold.<br />Aroma: Rich and weighty with heady and smoky aromatics. At full strength, the initial aroma is a beguiling mix of warm Christmas cake, walnut oil and parma violets fused<br />with fresh ocean spice, cedar and pine needles falling from the Christmas tree. A smouldering coal fire and the scent of well-oiled leather brings warmth. The sweetness of<br />treacle toffees and chocolate-coated raisins emerge through the smoke. With water, the deep smokiness increases in intensity, reminiscent of a fired Christmas pudding.<br />Rich flowering currants and warm baked banana and walnut bread are served with simmering mocha espresso.<br /><br />Taste: Full flavoured and rich with a deep mouth-coating texture, the taste is an intriguing balance between sweet, spicy and deep smoky flavours. The flavour is initially<br />sweet. A burst of winter spices sets off a smoky-spicy explosion countered by a sumptuous mid-palate of honey glazed smoked food and chewy treacle. Waves of deep<br />smoky tones and rich aromas build up on the palate like a fine Montecristo cigar.<br />Finish: Amazingly long and chewy with lingering raisiny, deep mocha tones and rich aromatic smoke into the perfectly integrated finish.<br />

SECOLO DOMENIS 50 cl<br /><br />To celebrate the centenary of DOMENIS1898, a grappa with an important character, fine and balanced.<br /><br />Strongly aromatic yet rounded, it surprises with the infinite sensations it offers to the taste. Certainly to be meditated on, slowly, to be pervaded by the thousand bouquets<br />on the nose and sensations in the mouth.<br /><br />The marc is collected fresh, even fermented, from selected suppliers. Distillation takes place in a discontinuous plant with eight copper stills, using direct steam. The use of<br />direct steam at a low temperature (just over 100°), which is blown into the distillation process at the base of the stills, makes it possible to extract the volatile components<br />from the marc mass without damaging them, especially the aromatic ones.<br /><br />The fact that the pomace comes from white grapes contributes to a strong aromatic personality, while the addition of black grape pomace gives it an unmistakable<br />roundness and harmony.<br /><br />The alcohol content chosen for this grappa (60°) clearly enhances the aromatic charge typical of grappa with an incredible softness in spite of the high alcohol content, while<br />maintaining an elegant balance and a pleasantly long finish.<br /><br />Typology: young grappa<br />Alcohol content: 60% vol.<br />Raw materials: marc<br />Serving temperature: 18°C<br />50 cl bottle with case<br />

The organoleptic amalgam created by the fresh pomace creates a<br />set of scents and tactile sensations in the mouth that few can resist. For meditation and a regal end to a meal.<br /><br />The pomace is collected fresh from selected suppliers and is stored for several months, starting from the time of harvesting the grapes of origin. In this fundamental phase it<br />is very important to preserve them from the air according to a delicate method of covering the silos to allow a favourable environment for the yeasts responsible for alcoholic<br />fermentation. Distillation is carried out in a discontinuous plant with eight copper stills, using direct steam.<br /><br />Crystal clear in appearance, fine on the nose. Strong in intensity, characterised by an intense and articulated aromatic bouquet. Dry taste. <br />DOLOMITES TRAMINER FINE OLD<br /><br />Grappa Gewürztraminer Old boasts all the characteristics of the basic distillate; a full-bodied, complex grab with an intense floral aroma, made from the pomace of the<br />Termeno wine-growing area. With its Grappa Gewürztraminer Old, the Zu Plun distillery provides its own answer to the mystery surrounding the true origin of the famous<br />vines, which are often the subject of much debate, by subjecting the special distillate made from the marc of the Tramin area to new influences: it is aged for at least three<br />years in oak barrels, where the fine sweet Sauternes wines were previously stored. <br />Grappa Tignanello<br /><br />Coming from the Tignanello Vineyard, it is a speciality produced in limited quantities, created to offer the perfumes and aromas of the grapes grown in the Chianti region in a<br />fine and aromatic distillate.<br /><br />Production: grappa Tignanello is obtained from the distillation of the marc of Sangiovese and Cabernet grapes harvested in the Tignanello vineyard, located on the Tignanello<br />Estate in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. The fermented marc is transferred to the distillery immediately after the fermentation vats have been emptied (racking) and<br />pressed. This procedure ensures that only the best pomace, rich in alcohol and above all in aromatic substances, is used for distillation. Among the lots of grappa obtained<br />from the distillation of the different batches of marc, only the best ones, the finest and most aromatic, are then blended and bottled.
