The liquid obtained is distilled until it reaches<br />80% alc./vol. and then diluted with water to reach 62.5% alc./vol.<br />COLOUR: amber yellow<br />AROMA: complex, with hints of caramel, oak wood, vanilla and brown sugar<br />TASTE: The presence of wheat makes the sensation on the palate more delicate compared to a rye Bourbon. Vanilla, wheat and oak are perceived.<br />TASTING NOTES: Pleasant and warm persistence, prolonged by hints of spices.<br /><br />DESCRIPTION: The 'Rebel Yell' brand was created for the Stitzel-Weller Distillery by Charles R. Farnsley (former mayor of Louisville) in the mid-1900s, around the 100th<br />anniversary of the original Weller Company, with the idea of small-batch distillation for exclusive distribution in the southern United States. Rebel Yell is a Kentucky Straight<br />Bourbon Whisky and the original old recipe dates back to 1849.
