A true act of innovation in the Nardini world, the first of its kind: unlike traditional grappa Riserva which are cuvèe of different casks of<br />the same vintage, in the 22 years Single Cask it is the final blend that is lowered into the cask to age. SECOLO DOMENIS 50 cl<br /><br />To celebrate the centenary of DOMENIS1898, a grappa with an important character, fine and balanced.<br /><br />Strongly aromatic yet rounded, it surprises with the infinite sensations it offers to the taste. Certainly to be meditated on, slowly, to be pervaded by the thousand bouquets<br />on the nose and sensations in the mouth.<br /><br />The marc is collected fresh, even fermented, from selected suppliers. Distillation takes place in a discontinuous plant with eight copper stills, using direct steam. The use of<br />direct steam at a low temperature (just over 100°), which is blown into the distillation process at the base of the stills, makes it possible to extract the volatile components<br />from the marc mass without damaging them, especially the aromatic ones.<br /><br />The fact that the pomace comes from white grapes contributes to a strong aromatic personality, while the addition of black grape pomace gives it an unmistakable<br />roundness and harmony.<br /><br />The alcohol content chosen for this grappa (60°) clearly enhances the aromatic charge typical of grappa with an incredible softness in spite of the high alcohol content, while<br />maintaining an elegant balance and a pleasantly long finish.<br /><br />Typology: young grappa<br />Alcohol content: 60% vol.<br />Raw materials: marc<br />Serving temperature: 18°C<br />50 cl bottle with case<br />

For meditation and a regal end to a meal.<br /><br />The pomace is collected fresh from selected suppliers and is stored for several months, starting from the time of harvesting the grapes of origin. In this fundamental phase it<br />is very important to preserve them from the air according to a delicate method of covering the silos to allow a favourable environment for the yeasts responsible for alcoholic<br />fermentation. Distillation is carried out in a discontinuous plant with eight copper stills, using direct steam.<br /><br />Crystal clear in appearance, fine on the nose. With its Grappa Gewürztraminer Old, the Zu Plun distillery provides its own answer to the mystery surrounding the true origin of the famous<br />vines, which are often the subject of much debate, by subjecting the special distillate made from the marc of the Tramin area to new influences: it is aged for at least three<br />years in oak barrels, where the fine sweet Sauternes wines were previously stored. <br />Grappa Tignanello<br /><br />Coming from the Tignanello Vineyard, it is a speciality produced in limited quantities, created to offer the perfumes and aromas of the grapes grown in the Chianti region in a<br />fine and aromatic distillate.<br /><br />Production: grappa Tignanello is obtained from the distillation of the marc of Sangiovese and Cabernet grapes harvested in the Tignanello vineyard, located on the Tignanello<br />Estate in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. The fermented marc is transferred to the distillery immediately after the fermentation vats have been emptied (racking) and<br />pressed. This procedure ensures that only the best pomace, rich in alcohol and above all in aromatic substances, is used for distillation. Among the lots of grappa obtained<br />from the distillation of the different batches of marc, only the best ones, the finest and most aromatic, are then blended and bottled. Type: Pure Single Rum<br />Raw material: Molasses<br />Fermentation: Selected yeasts<br />Production method: Pot Still distillation<br />Ageing: Tropical<br />Box: Yes<br /><br />Why it's different<br /><br />Worthy Park 2007 is a bottling of the WPL brand, with congeners between 60 and 119 g / hLAP. Distilled in 2007 from molasses from the Worthy Park Estate's sugar cane<br />mill. It is a Pure Single Rum aged in the distillery's tropical climate warehouse and was bottled at 59% full cask grade, with an angel's share after 10 years of 64%. The label<br />shows the copper double retort still made by Scottish Forsyths for Worthy Park Distillery. No sugar, caramel or additives are added at bottling.<br />How to drink it<br /><br />Drink it straight, letting it breathe, possibly with water to have a slight dilution at will. It can be used in blending as a 'cut' to enrich any type of classic rum-based cocktail.<br />Focus<br /><br />Worthy Park 2007 Habitation Velier is the first bottling that bears the name of the Jamaican distillery on the label, different from the previous editions that were called<br />'Forsyths', inspired by the double retort copper still used for the production of all Worthy Park Estate rums. Worthy Park allocates part of its production to 'bulk' marketing,<br />rums which are then destined for blended rums or for selections of independent bottlers, provided that the name of the distillery is not put on their labels. The project carried<br />out in collaboration with Luca Gargano is not a simple independent bottling project. On the contrary, we could consider it 'dependent bottling', since the labels highlight the<br />fundamental points of production, such as the origin of the molasses, the type of still, the year of distillation and bottling, the percentage of angel's share, the mark,<br />specifying the level of esters and congeners as well as, of course, the fact that ageing takes place in a tropical climate at the distillery, information that is not usually<br />declared in independent bottling, since barrels are always purchased through rum merchants and never directly from the distillery. After the first editions, Worthy Park<br />allowed Luca to use the official name of the distillery, so from the 2007 release the name Worthy Park will always appear on the label.<br />
