Hendricks Lunar 43,4° 70cl

Hendrick's Gin Lunar
Hendrick's Scotland

70 cl / 43.4 °
Typology: Gin
Box: No
Why it's different

Hendrick's Gin Lunar is the latest addition to the Hendrick's range. After the Orbium version, the first limited edition Summer Solstice was released and now this new limited
edition has finally been announced: Lunar Gin, which has been on sale in the UK since 20 February. This is an exceptional gin with a 43.3% vol. strength, described as
'distinctly floral with a delicate spicy finish'.

How to drink it:
Sasha Filimonov, UK brand ambassador for Hendrick's, suggests adding black pepper to enhance the gin's notes. He recommends trying the 'Moonlight Buck' cocktail with
Hendrick's Lunar Gin, ginger ale and lemon juice, garnished with cucumber and lemon zest.
Drouin Pays d'ague Reserve...

Drouin Pays d'ague Reserve...

Drouin Pays D'Auge Reserve
Drouin France

70 cl / 40 °
Typology: Calvados
Raw material: Apples
Fermentation: Indigenous yeasts
Method of production: Charentais Alembic
Box: Yes

Why it is different:
We could call Drouin Pays D'auge the grand cru of the Calvados appellation, with very strict rules. The Réserve is made like all Drouin calvados: harvesting of the 30 apple
varieties and reaching maturity, champagne-style soft pressing with yields reduced to 65% to preserve the fragrance and freshness of the juice, spontaneous fermentation
with indigenous yeasts. The ciders for distillation are the youngest ones, which remain in stainless steel vats for several months, at least 5. They are fresh and fruity
fermented, not overly complex, and ideal for the production of distillates for short ageing. Distillation takes place in the traditional copper Charentais still, ageing in French
oak barrels for 4 years.

How to drink it:
To be enjoyed neat in a tulip glass. Excellent when paired with chocolate desserts or a classic apple and pear cake.

Focus:
Fermentation is a key process in the production of all Christian Drouin spirits: it all happens naturally with the distillery's indigenous yeasts. The freshly pressed juice
reaches the stainless steel vats, where it ferments and rests for at least 5 months, but in some cases up to 1 year. Based on the fermentation time, it is already clear what
type of calvados can be obtained. Those obtained from young ciders will be ideal for the distillation of younger, fresh and fruity calvados. The more mature and evolved ciders
are distilled from June onwards, but in some cases also in the autumn following the harvest, resulting in very complex and rich distillates, ideal for long ageing, particularly
for vintage wines.
Whisky Dalmore 15YO 70cl

Whisky Dalmore 15YO 70cl

HISTORY: Located in the Highland town of Alness, Dalmore Distillery boasts the oldest stills in the region, one of which has been in use since 1874! In fact, the distillery
still uses several stills for production, overseen by legendary master distiller Richard Paterson. For ageing, Dalmore uses a wide range of sherry casks: Oloroso, Amoroso,
Mathusalem, etc. from the Gonzales Byass vineyards in Andalusia. Once matured, the different varieties of barrels are assembled to create the various expressions within
the range. The deer that adorns each bottle of Dalmore is the coat of arms of the Mackenzie family, the historic owners of the distillery.

PRODUCT: Initially left to mature in ex-bourbon American oak casks. The liquid is then divided into three different ex-oloroso sherry casks: Amoroso, Apostoles and
Matusalem. Each of these casks gives the whisky its individual and unique characteristics. The three liquids are then reassembled and left to rest.

PROFILE: On the nose bitter orange marmalade, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate tangerine, vanilla ginger and quince with a long finish of oak and Christmas spices.

Country: Scotland
Alcohol content: 40°.
Bottle: 70 cl
