<br />TYPE: Calvados<br />PRODUCTION AREA; Pays d'Auge<br />RAW MATERIAL: Apples (from mainly small trees). Clay soil, rich in nitrogen and potassium.<br />DISTILLATION: before obtaining the cider, the apples undergo blending and pressing, they are carefully washed and treated to extract the pulp of the fruit on the one hand,<br />and the must on the other, which must macerate for at least 6 weeks before reaching the alcoholic degree required for distillation, i.e. 4.5% vol. minimum.<br />COLOUR: gold<br />BOUQUET: during tasting it is lively and has a very lively character, but always pleasant<br />TASTE: it can be drunk as a digestive, sipped with Italian-style coffee, but also used to prepare refined cocktails or to make flambage in the kitchen.<br />DESCRIPTION: Château du Breuil is internationally renowned for the quality of its production, for which it uses only pure apple juice from the pays d'auge. The fermentation<br />cycle is carried out in a natural way; this requires a lot of patience and constant attention to obtain the quintessence of the fruit. Savoir-faire, combined with experience, is<br />the strength of Château du Breuil, which prioritises quality over yield.<br />AGING: Minimum 2 years in oak barrels.<br />

Storica Uve 50 cl<br /><br />The care taken in distilling the best grapes makes this distillate incomparable. And it cannot be missed on the most important occasions in the life of a connoisseur who<br />demands products with a fine, intense bouquet, a rounded flavour and a long persistence in the mouth.<br /><br />The healthy, ripe grapes are first destemmed and then placed in stainless steel fermenters. Alcoholic fermentation is carefully monitored to promote the best conditions<br />because the product of this will fundamentally condition the aromatic charge of the distillate. Distillation is carried out in a discontinuous plant with eight copper stills, using<br />direct steam. It is carried out within a short time of the end of alcoholic fermentation to preserve the freshness of the aromatic composition. Maturation in stainless steel<br />tanks for a maximum of three to four months to maintain the fragrance of the aromas. The 'transformation' to the final alcohol content (42°) is done by dilution with water and<br />cold filtration, at a temperature that guarantees the preservation of the predominant fruity component.<br /><br />Colourless, clear and crystalline spirit with a fragrant and delicate bouquet. August<br />Sebastiani, a Tuscan-born winemaker and owner of the company, discovered numerous documents that testified to his family's involvement in the building's construction. His<br />grandfather had worked as a volunteer and received 3 badges for his career. 3 badges has thus become a symbol of returning to the roots, celebrating the passion for<br />commitment and craftsmanship as the cardinal points of the company.<br /><br />PRODUCT: Kirk and Sweeney was a wooden schooner known for smuggling rum from the Caribbean to the North East during the early years of Prohibition. It is a molasses<br />rum of Dominican origin aged for 18 years.<br /><br />PROFILE: Complex and intriguing, it touches on a wide range of aromas, from the intensity of vanilla to notes of sherry and grapes, underpinned by the fragrance of roasted<br />sugar cane.
