Acquavite Most Barrique...

Acquavite Most Barrique...

Most Barrique Ex-Amarone

MOST, the aqua-vitae made from grape must, is born from the crushing of prized grapes still fresh from the harvest. The berries, with their fragrant and sugary pulp are
transformed into must, distilled according to the 'Tosolini method' with Charante steam stills (double distillation). Matured in oak barriques, Most ex Amarone barrique is
born. It has an aromatic bouquet, with intense notes of morello cherry and sweet spices. The bottle of Most, with its inverted goblet shape, is the trademark of the Tosolini
distillery, unmistakable and precious.

Variety: blend of noble grapes
Alcohol content: 40% vol.
Artisanal distillation: discontinuous, with Charante steam stills
Maturation: in former Amarone oak barriques
Colour: limpid with intense amber hues
Body: intense and elegant
Sensory profile: extremely pleasant on the palate, with intense notes of morello cherry
and sweet spices. Calvados 8 ans d'age futs...

Calvados 8 ans d'age futs...

TYPOLOGY: Calvados Pays d'Auge A.O.C. - ' Reserve du Château 8 Ans futs Sauternes '.

PRODUCTION AREA: Pont- l'Évêque - Normandy

RAW MATERIAL: Apples (from mainly small trees).

DISTILLATION: Before obtaining the cider, the apples undergo blending and pressing, they are carefully washed and treated to extract the pulp of the fruit on the one hand,
and the must on the other, which must macerate for at least 6 weeks before reaching the alcohol content required for distillation, i.e. 4.5% vol. minimum.Double distillation,
carried out strictly with discontinuous copper stills.

SOIL TYPE: Clayey soil, rich in nitrogen and potassium.

COLOUR: Brilliant and luminous

BOUQUET: Soft and fruity, with wonderful aromas of walnut, unripe hazelnut, fresh almond and vanilla

FLAVOUR: In tasting, the apple remains very present, and the aftertaste is long and exceptional

AGEING: It is aged in French oak barrels for at least 8 years and then carefully blended before bottling. As far as ageing is concerned, Calvados is very similar to the
classification of Cognac and Armagnac and just as with these spirits, only the age of the youngest distillate counts. If one mixes a 2-year-old calvados with a 30-year-old,
the final product has two years of ageing. This detail is important, because like brandies, Calvados is a blend of different vintages and distillates in terms of type and age.
What matters to the master distiller is the final product, so he tries to blend to find balance and finesse.
Rum Nation Guatemala XO -...

Rum Nation Guatemala XO -...

For the 20th anniversary of Rum Nation, we have handpicked some of the best and sweetest casks of this precious rum from Guatemala. Made from sugar cane molasses
and distilled in a column still, it is aged for a period of at least 4 years in ex-bourbon white oak barrels in the tropical climate of the Hondo river region. The secret of its
richness is a second maturation for 16 months in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks in our cool Italian location. This enhancse the rums winey and fruity notes and its
natural sweetness of fragrant vanilla and raisins, adding an extra layer of complexity. Sweet and luscious, honeyed and nutty. A limited edition in an elegant decanter to
celebrate 20 years of rum discoveries all around the world.

Appearance: Mahogany
Nose: delicate but rich, honeyed, with all the richness of cane sugar. Ripe dates, vanilla, chocolate, very raisiny.
Palate: a very rich and creamy caress, with no alcohol burn. Sweet, honeyed, with notes of buttery pastries. A whole array of ripe fruits: raisins, dates, dried plums, with
notes of vanilla and cola. A touch of toasted nuts, and a refreshing hint of candied orange too.
Finish: sweeter, and even less aggressive than in the younger expression. Warm, with the winey and raisiny note of the sherry casks becoming particularly evident, but also
with a very noticeable note of sweet liquorice.
Comment: still a light, easy rum like the Gran Reserva, but made more complex, richer, sweeter and even more velvety by the additional maturation for 16 months in
Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks.
