Only the best Moscato grapes are selected by the Tosolini family exclusively in the production area of the Venezie. The intense rose aroma and the hint of acacia<br />honey result in a pleasant grape with a harmonious aftertaste.<br /><br />Variety: from fresh pomace from Muscat grapes<br />Alcohol content: 40% vol.<br />Artisanal distillation: in traditional steam boilers.<br />Maturation: 6 months in steel containers<br />Colour: crystal white<br />Body: intense<br />Sensory profile: intense aromas of roses and sweet hints of acacia honey; sweet and smooth taste with a pleasant and harmonious aftertaste. Soft and silky on the palate.<br />Serving suggestion: serve at room temperature in the classic tulip glass. During the summer period the best temperature is in the cellar at around 16/18°C.<br />

HISTORY: Located in the Highland town of Alness, Dalmore Distillery boasts the oldest stills in the region, one of which has been in use since 1874! In fact, the distillery<br />still uses several stills for production, overseen by legendary master distiller Richard Paterson. For ageing, Dalmore uses a wide range of sherry casks: Oloroso, Amoroso,<br />Mathusalem, etc. from the Gonzales Byass vineyards in Andalusia. Once matured, the different varieties of barrels are assembled to create the various expressions within<br />the range. The deer that adorns each bottle of Dalmore is the coat of arms of the Mackenzie family, the historic owners of the distillery.<br /><br />PRODUCT: Initially left to mature in ex-bourbon American oak casks. The liquid is then divided into three different ex-oloroso sherry casks: Amoroso, Apostoles and<br />Matusalem. Each of these casks gives the whisky its individual and unique characteristics. The three liquids are then reassembled and left to rest.<br /><br />PROFILE: On the nose bitter orange marmalade, cinnamon and nutmeg. Grappa di Barolo Riserva 1990<br /><br />VINE: Nebbiolo da Barolo.<br />ALCOHOL CONTENT: 50% by volume.<br />BOTTLE VOLUME: 70cl.<br />AGING: passages in six types of small barrels of different woods.<br />BOTTLES USED: barrel n.1264 and n.1216.<br />TASTING: the prolonged ageing process gives this selected grappa reserve a unique sensory mark. Its exceptionally rich colour heralds the aromatic power and softness<br />that are later found during tasting. The barrique has exceptionally developed the spicy scents with very clear notes ranging from pepper to cloves, from nutmeg to brown<br />tobacco, from aniseed to liquorice. These initial sensations are accompanied by and reveal further fruity aromas of jam, cooked apple, prune, almond and walnut. Then<br />another floral hint of honey, all in an extremely frank whole.<br />BOTTLES PRODUCED: from barrel n.1264 n.783 bottles and from barrel n.1216 n.596 bottles.<br />PACKAGING: All bottles, rigorously numbered by hand, are presented in an elegant oak box, which gives the packaging a touch of sobriety.<br />
