In the very best vintages, the three oldest and best small plots of our three most important varieties are harvested and vinified<br />under the lowest yields.<br />Grown on red, sandy loam and gravelly dolomite soils in the Brenntal site, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon come together to form an inimitable Alpine-<br />Mediterranean cuvée.<br /><br />Grape variety: 77% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc &amp; 3% Cabernet Sauvignon<br />Vinification: fermentation in wood, ageing in french barriques for 15 months. Quercegobbe<br />Merlot 100%<br />A real cru from which the merlot grapes used to produce the wine come.<br /><br />Quercegobbe is in an ideal position, on the edge of the Mediterranean maquis but close to the winery, on a well-ventilated hill overlooking the sea.<br /><br />Very concentrated ruby colour. Wide and intriguing nose, at first in the fruity notes of blueberries, raspberries, sour cherries and plums, then in the Mediterranean<br />component of myrtle, rosemary and liquorice.<br />The body is dense, rich overall, soft, with smooth tannins. As vigorous as it is balanced, it is an impactful red that does not betray expectations.<br />Production methodPrecious threads from the past weave a modern weave.<br />The production method is rigorously aimed at defending the territorial connotation.<br /><br />It ferments in truncated conical oak vats and matures for 15 months, partly in new 600-litre demi-muids and partly in second-passage barriques. First born among the wines that make up the MOMA line dedicated to the world of art, the label bears the work Golden Glass by Milanese artist Beatrice Pani, first prize-<br />winner at the third edition of the Umberto Cesari Art Contest.<br /><br />Blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown on medium-textured clay soils. The vineyards have an average age of 15 years and a yield of 80 quintals of<br />grapes per hectare. Fermented in vertical steel vats at controlled temperature for 12-14 days. Matured for 6 months in 30 HL Slavonian oak casks and a further 3 months in<br />bottle.<br /><br />Colour: light red with violet reflections.<br />Bouquet: intense plum, violet and red fruits.<br />Taste: pleasantly velvety on the palate, with the fruity hints typical of Sangiovese, the softness of Merlot and the 'balsamicity' of Cabernet Sauvignon. After completing malolactic<br />fermentation,the wine matures in 25-hectolitre barrels of Slavonian oak.<br />Bottling normally takes place in August. The Barolo Ginestra Casa<br />Matèthen stays in the binning cellar for 8-10 months before release.<br />

The bouquet is reminiscent of<br />nettle, apples, green peppers and tropical fruits.<br />With a harmonious balance of acidity and minerality, notes of elderberry, banana and vanilla enrich the lively character of this wine.<br />Thanks to its excellent quality, this wine has been included in the Bernardi collection. This is a selection of choice grapes from optimal vineyards.<br />
