Turmfeld proudly looks out over<br />Unterrain and Bolzano, while the warm rays shine on his leaves and energy flows steadily through his veins. A real sun worshipper is this Cabernet - enjoyable, sublime,<br />exciting. And one that likes to draw attention to itself!<br /><br />Wine description: multi-layered bouquet of cassis, white pepper, dried fruit and chocolate. Full-bodied, powerful body with well-structured tannin. Juicy and long lasting<br />finish.<br />Terroir: Sun-exposed steep slopes with high clay content in Missian and St. Pauls (350m.a.s.l.).<br />Age of the vines: approx. 20 years<br />Vinification: slow fermentation in open wooden vats and maturation on the fine lees<br />in used tonneaux for 12 - 15 months<br />Recommended with: grilled meats, meat dishes and hard cheeses.<br />Serving temperature: 16°-18°C<br />Alcohol: 13.0% vol.<br />Total acidity: 4.7 g/l<br />Residual sugar: 0.3 g/l<br />

Appetizing, juicy ... notes of ground black pepper, red spices (Hungarian paprika) and cumin. Traces of oak (cherry) and dusty<br />tannins tending to chalky. Fruits evident, but the savoury attracts more attention (glazed meats, green olives, capers).
