Hebo<br />Merlot 55%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, Cabernet<br />Franc 10% e Sangiovese 15%<br /><br />The name of an Etruscan settlement of ancient origin, Hebo recalls the historical roots of Suvereto.<br /><br />It is produced from a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese, vines introduced to the area by Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, princess of Piombino from<br />1805 and enlightened woman of wine.<br /><br />The ruby colour is bright, the aromas reveal fresh scents of sour cherries, violets and blueberries, before turning to seductive mineral hints and nuances of Mediterranean<br />scrub.<br /><br />On the palate, the wine is structured but fresh, savoury and with good momentum. The finish is pleasantly fruity, delicate in its savoury character and with gentle tannins.<br /><br />Production methodSun, wind and three complementary soils<br />The production method is rigorously aimed at defending the territorial connotation.<br /><br />The grapes are harvested in boxes, fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts and vinification takes place in steel tanks. The wine is aged for about a year in<br />Slavonian oak barrels and a small percentage of used barriques. Refinement in the bottle lasts 6 months.<br /><br />Alcohol: 13.5 % - Total acidity 5.6 - pH 3.65<br />

This blend obtained from Montepulciano<br />and Sangiovese grapes, cultivated in the restricted and most vocated area of the Rosso Piceno D.O.C. denomination, through ageing in wood enhances its natural qualities<br />to a clearly superior level.<br /><br />SENSORY ANALYSIS<br />A wine with an intense ruby red colour. The nose reveals a very broad aromatic complex in which notes of cherry and plum blend with those of sweet spices (cinnamon<br />and liquorice). Vogelleiten und<br />Panholzer with clay-limestone gravel soil.<br /><br />Vintage<br /><br />2023 was a challenging year with climatic conditions that were anything but easy. Through hard work and meticulous attention to detail, we ultimately achieved great results.<br />Our vines coped well with both the wet spring and the hot and dry summer, and the golden autumn helped us achieve perfect ripeness. Physiolog-ical ripeness, sugar<br />ripeness and acidity are in perfect balance. Ripe fruit, cool character and moderate alcohol characterise the vintage.<br />The Golden Muscat grapes were left on the vines until the end of September for perfect maturity. The berries were a golden yellow, the aroma highly intense. At 55 hl per<br />hectare, the yield was low.<br /><br />Winemaking<br /><br />Grapes were de-stemmed and left to macerate in the press for twelve hours to enrich the juice with aroma substances and body leached from the skins. Fermentation took<br />place in oak and stainless steel tanks, partially with yeasts naturally occurring in the vineyard. I Frati<br />Lugana Doc<br /><br />The wine that has made the company's image known and continues to do so. It has a direct link with its variety, Turbiana, our indigenous vine. Conceived to be consumed<br />during the year, it expresses its best side many years after bottling. In its youth it is fresh, linear and endowed with great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white<br />flowers and balsamic, hints of apricot and almond. Time allows it to evolve, expressing its mineral notes with greater determination. The wine acquires its own complexity<br />with hints of iodine, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth it is capable of enveloping the whole palate thanks to an important savoury essence accompanied by lively and<br />exuberant acidity.
