First born among the wines that make up the MOMA line dedicated to the world of art, the label bears the work Golden Glass by Milanese artist Beatrice Pani, first prize-<br />winner at the third edition of the Umberto Cesari Art Contest.<br /><br />Blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown on medium-textured clay soils. The vineyards have an average age of 15 years and a yield of 80 quintals of<br />grapes per hectare. Fermented in vertical steel vats at controlled temperature for 12-14 days. Matured for 6 months in 30 HL Slavonian oak casks and a further 3 months in<br />bottle.<br /><br />Colour: light red with violet reflections.<br />Bouquet: intense plum, violet and red fruits.<br />Taste: pleasantly velvety on the palate, with the fruity hints typical of Sangiovese, the softness of Merlot and the 'balsamicity' of Cabernet Sauvignon. Maturation for 20 months in French barriques. Subsequent filling and long ageing in the bottle.<br />Tasting<br /><br />The Lagrein Riserva Vigna 'Castel Ringberg' invites with a strong garnet red and a fruity-fresh, multi-layered bouquet: Aromas of red berries with cranberries, currants and<br />cherries combine with delicate tobacco notes and a little chocolate. Velvety soft tannins, a fresh, spicy fullness and structure, youthful elegance and plenty of charm as well<br />as a stimulating, mineral-influenced length convince on the palate.<br />

This wine is a blend of three varietals. The Clairette brings the freshness and zest of citrus, the Viognier the aromatic depth and roundness, and the Grenache the notes of<br />white flowers.<br />The grapes are harvested early in the morning and completely destemmed. The fermentation in stainless-steel vats preserves the full aromatic freshness. The wine has a<br />nose of citrus and apricots, a round and generous mouthfeel, and a fresh and flavourful finish.<br />
